BioI love life and live it with passion. I read, write, paint, dance, sing, cook, bake, and generally grab on to whatever adventure life tosses my way. This makes my life a little chaotic and a lot wonderful. I'm devoted to spiritual growth, not of the "sitaroundinpurpleandchant" variety, but of the real, practical kind that makes my life and the world a better place.
I worship my children. They are the most amazing people I know. My eldest is 26, and defines the term free spirit. My daughter, the Gothlet, is 14 going on 17. She's smart and funny, making her way into adolescence with a flair that makes me proud. And my youngest, RocketMan (9), marches to the beat of his own dijeridu. He's intelligent, creative, and definitely his own person.
I have an amazing man in my life, Matt, who is a partner to me in every way, and a miraculous gift to me. I'm thankful every moment of ever day that a man like him exists in the world.
My circle of friends is varied and extraordinary. I cannot believe all of the people I have to love and who shower me with love in return. My life is sometimes difficult, but always joyful.
Politically, I describe myself as a pragmatic progressive, essentially, a fiscally responsible liberal. Religion... would you believe a deeply spiritual atheist? It's true. I am crazy in love with the world and everyone in it.
My journal is generally full of mundane stuff about myself and the people I love. There's the occasional bit of drama, but mostly it is just low-key musings and reports of the happenings here at Stately Danger Manor. I am always mystified that others want to read it, while at the same time being Very Pleased by that.
